Standards built in.
Not standards bolted on.
Public procurement, healthcare compliance, federal grants, international funding — all demand standard paper, recognized vocabularies, and audit-defensible records. Sympl · Project ships AIA, CSI, AACE, OSHA, ConsensusDocs, EJCDC, FGI, EVMS — plus NEC4, JCT, ISO 19650, RIBA, FIDIC for international work — as native or templated defaults.
How conformance works
Two states, plus an honest "out of scope" section.
Native schema-level conformance
Reports and exports match the standard out of the box. The data model is the standard — AIA, CSI, AACE, OSHA on the US side; NEC4, JCT, ISO 19650, RIBA, FIDIC for international.
Templated + accommodated
Workflow templates and form chrome on the same data model (ConsensusDocs vs AIA, EJCDC, LEED credit tracker, FGI healthcare), plus custom-field and integration-adapter coverage for the long tail (COBie, IFC, OmniClass).
US standards
AIA G702 / G703
Available nowApplication + Continuation Sheet
The non-negotiable pay-app schema
"G702-style" billing is the de facto schema for commercial pay applications regardless of paper used. Pay apps are generated in G702/G703 by default — Procurement and legal see paper they recognize on day one, no six-month configuration.

AIA A201-2017
Available nowGeneral Conditions of the Contract for Construction
Change orders, payment, completion
A201 §7 (change-order mechanism), §9 (payment), §10 (safety), and §12 (closeout) drive the project workflow. Owner approval gate is enforced per §7.2.1. Substantial completion and final completion gates per §9.8 / §9.10.

Honest about scope
Deliberately out of scope.
Standards we don't target — either because they're upstream of CPM, downstream of CPM, or because they require a federal authorization story we're not pretending to have yet.
FedRAMP / GovRAMP / StateRAMP / CMMC 2.0 / NIST SP 800-171
Federal authorization deferred to Run phase. Honest about not being there.
AIA B-series
Owner-Architect agreements are upstream of CPM scope.
AIA C-series
Architect-Consultant agreements are out of CPM scope.
ANSI/ASTM material standards
Designer / manufacturer concern, not CPM platform.
PMBOK / ISO 21500 / ISO 9001 as conformance claims
Vocabulary alignment only; no certification target.
Standards your buyers expect. On day one.
If your buyer needs a regime we don't list — DOT-specific paper, a state-grant program, a non-US contract family — talk to us. Regime packs are how we scale; the underlying schema flexes farther than the defaults.
