PDF export is not "data export." It's a format designed to prevent programmatic use of your own data. We never do this. Every export is machine-readable CSV.

No feature walls on export

Export is not gated behind a higher plan tier, a higher seat count, or an "enterprise" contract. If your data is in Sympl CMMS, you can get it out — always.

Standard read API on Professional and Enterprise

REST API with versioned endpoints for assets, work orders, PMs, and meter readings. Documented, rate-limited transparently, no proprietary format. Build your own BI integration without asking us.

If you cancel, you have a 90-day export window to pull everything out in CSV format. After 90 days, data is deleted per our retention policy. We don't hold data hostage after cancellation, and we don't charge for the export window.
